Each summer, the National Sea Grant Law Center hires a full-time law student. This summer’s Research Associate is Sam Stewart, a rising 3L at Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. Over the course of the summer, Sam will contribute to the NSGLC’s research projects and publications.
1. Where are you from?
I am from Granville, Ohio.
2. What was your first job?
My first job was a lifeguard.
3. What made you consider a career in law?
I wanted to pursue a career that would allow to address pressing environmental issues in an impactful way.
4. What has been your favorite law school class so far?
Torts.
5. What is your favorite beach memory?
My favorite beach memory is sitting on the beach in Barcelona watching the sunset with my brother.
6. How do you typically spend your free time?
During my free time, I usually spend time with friends, go on a run, or hang around Central Park.
